Welcome to Mr. Liconti's Grade 12 College English (ENG4C) course.
Our readings include the dramas How Black Mothers Say I Love You and A View from the Bridge along with the novel The Pearl. Various short stories and poems from around the world, as well as both media studies and non-fiction texts will be read. Reading, writing, listening and speaking skills will be our focus.

Reading Poetry for Meaning, Together: focus on poems that are 25 lines or fewer. This list is constantly changing. If you read one that you like, write down the title so that you can find it for your assignment.
On the last day of Lesson 26, we will look at some sample assignments.

Handing in your video https://support.wevideo.com/hc/en-us/articles/7275700206363-How-do-I-finish-and-download-my-export- :
Click 'Finish' in the top right corner.
Change the resolution to HD.
Change the Destination to GOOGLE DRIVE. You might be asked for permission to connect your school Google Drive to WeVideo. Accept this.
When the Export is finished, the video will be in your school Google Drive. Submit that video to the Google Classroom.
LOGIN WeVideo
1. Use a Chrome Browser
2. Make sure you are logged in to your STUDENT ACCOUNT (TOP RIGHT CORNER OF CHROME)
3. Go to WeVideo
4. JUST CLICK THE LOGIN WITH GOOGLE BUTTON
If you didn't . . .

your school password
If that does not work, click 'forgot password' then go to your student email for the password reset.
When you login to WeVideo, you will see that the content has Gold Crowns.
Click on the crown. Choose the 30 day trial plan.
This will let you download and submit your video to the Google Classroom.
IF YOU STILL HAVE CROWNS
If your account still has crowns, you need to make a screen capture.
To Screen Capture:
1. On Chromebook press press Shift + Ctrl + Show windows (ABOVE the '6' key / rectangle with bars key)
2. Switch from camera to video camera
3. Click settings key -> Turn on Mic
4. Select full screen
5. Play the WeVideo Preview IN FULL SCREEN
6. That screen capture is what you hand in to the Google Classroom
